This is an advanced ride for motorcyclists comfortable with a fairly challenging road.
From Mill Valley, this ride typically takes me 6 hours; with breaks for gas and food.
With a group this will probably take longer. So, please no complaining about the early start.
The scenery varies: from coastline to inland, but it's always beautiful. There are a lot of fun twisties and elevation changes. You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations: either at the Seabird Lodge (www.seabirdlodge.com) or at the Super 8 (Super8@mcn.org). Both are fine, and they are within walking distance of each other. There's a cafe in front, so NO matter where you stay, we won't have to ride to dinner after our long day. In front of the Seabird is a great breakfast place for Sunday morning. There are two possibilities for the return trip on Sunday. We'll make that a group decision Sunday moring. We can return via 101, or come back the same way we went. It looks different in the other direction, don't you know? A LINK to the original post. You must be a WOW Yahoo member to read it. | |
