Minutes from the WOW Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 Attending: Karen, Diana, Kathleen and Prue NO riders, all arrived in cars. We discussed the potluck held the previous Sunday, at Diana's. Since Karen had produced a box of homemade candies for the potluck, Prue offered an item to Karen to see if she could decipher what it was. Answer: reminiscent of abbas-abbas (spelling?) The delicious coleslaw was another curosity: since it was in a take-out container we all assumed it was purchased. To the contrary: Kathleen made it. The dressing was the key: Marie's Coleslaw Dressing. Mostly we chatted about non-bike things. The behaviors of twins. While you may not be able to tell them apart, parents can. When one is left-handed, and the other right: they each sit with their dominant hand on the outside. How left-handers tend to be problem solvers - since they find the right-handedness of society a challenge to be "figured out". How there are too few good places to dance. How, sometimes it's best not to lead your male dance partner, they've got to figure it out themselves. Some people just can't figure it out, they have no physical sense of themselves. Jodie is firmly settled now, and continuing her contracting with her former (therefore current) employer. While Jodie may be gone, she's not forgotten. She's just a few states away, it might make a nice long ride ... sometime. Meeting ended shortly after 8:30. Cold temperatures, clear skies. No rain. Prue -- Suzuki Savage LS650P
